Kenya Travel & Experience Orientation
This session is for you if...
You are visiting Kenya for the first time and want to understand how the country actually works.
You have questions you cannot find straight answers to online.
Every time you search, someone is trying to sell you a package instead of answering your question.
You want to structure your trip yourself but need a clear starting point.
You want to move through Kenya confidently and independently — without relying on a guide for everything.
You want to understand the real Kenya, not just the tourist version.
How the 60 minutes are spent
Step 2
Your Trip, Your Ideas (10–15 minutes)
You share what you are thinking — your dates, your interests, your questions, your concerns. No judgement, no interruptions. This is your time to speak.
Step 3
Kenya Orientation (10–15 minutes)
Joyce walks you through how Kenya works — the geography, the regions, how travel between areas actually functions, what the cultural and practical realities are on the ground.
Let's be clear about what this is.
THIS SESSION IS:
A private 60-minute conversation with a local Kenya expert. A strategic orientation to how Kenya works — geography, logistics, culture, and practical realities. Honest answers to your specific questions. A clear direction for how your trip should flow — where to start, where to go next. The conversation you should have before any booking begins.
THIS SESSION IS NOT:
A tour package.
A concierge or itinerary-building service.
A booking platform.
A sales pitch for anything else.
You leave with clarity and confidence. What you do with that is entirely up to you.
Step 4
Your Strategic Direction (10 minutes)
Based on everything discussed, Joyce outlines a logical flow for your trip. Where to start. Where to go next. What decisions will most shape your experience.
After the session, you receive a short follow-up email summarising the key points from your conversation. For the next 3–5 days, you can send follow-up questions by email and Joyce will respond.
Step 5
Your Questions Answered (remaining time)
The session closes with your specific questions answered directly and honestly — no deflection, no upselling.
Step 1
Welcome (5–7 minutes)
We start by setting the tone and making sure the session is focused on what matters most to you.
A 60-minute session with a local — for travellers who want to understand Kenya before they start planning.
By the end of your session, you will have:
A clear mental map of Kenya and how to move through it.
Practical understanding of how everyday travel in Kenya works.
Honest answers to the questions that have been holding you back.
Confidence about safety, costs, transport, and independence.
A logical direction for your trip that you can take to any tour operator or use to plan on your own.
The ability to make informed decisions — without pressure, without confusion.

A few things you might be wondering
Is this worth $175 if I haven't even decided to visit Kenya yet? Yes — especially then. Many clients come to this session still deciding whether Kenya is right for their trip. By the end, they have a clear picture of what Kenya offers and whether it matches what they are looking for. That clarity alone is worth the session.
I've been to Africa before. Is this still relevant for me? Kenya has its own distinct logic, infrastructure, and culture. Knowing one African country well does not mean you know how Kenya works. If you have specific questions about Kenya, this session is for you.
What if I have very specific or unusual questions? That is exactly what this session is designed for. Bring every question you have not been able to find a straight answer to. That is where Joyce's local knowledge is most valuable.
What if I want more support after the session? At the end of the session Joyce will offer the option of a more detailed follow-up service if you need further planning support. There is no pressure to take this — it is simply available if you want it.
